Complex carbohydrates for breakfast

The most well-known forms of complex carbohydrates are oatmeal powder and rice powder. Both are very finely ground and therefore dissolve perfectly in, for example, milk or almond milk. This makes them popular for breakfast. You can make a delicious, nutritious breakfast shake by mixing oatmeal or rice powder with whey protein. For extra vitamins and minerals, you can add a banana and a handful of spinach as well. If you want to get more calories, you can add a tablespoon of peanut butter or MCT oil.

What foods contain complex carbohydrates

Complex carbohydrates are very healthy and are fortunately contained in many food products. If you maintain a healthy and varied diet, you will get enough complex carbohydrates in practice. These are often found in dark green vegetables, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, rice and oatmeal. Take a look at our Perfect Rice Powder and Perfect Oats. You can have both in a healthy breakfast and even as a weight gainer.
