The whey hydrolysate is absorbed almost immediately by your body and can therefore be used faster to restore your muscles. By the slow proteins, we mean casein protein, also called milk protein. The main feature of casein proteins is that the proteins are delivered to the body at a slower rate, making the product ideal for use before bedtime. During sleep, your body is most engaged in recovery. Casein protein is therefore often used to replace yoghurt before bedtime.
