O.R.S. (Oral Rehydration Salts) - NZVT

O.R.S. is short for Oral Rehydration Salts, or Oral Rehydration Solution. What is an Oral Rehydration Solution?

O.R.S. is a specific mix of carbohydrates (dextrose) and salts (a combination of sodium and potassium). In simple language this means that moisture is absorbed more easily than with an isotonic drink, for example.
