As a fanatic endurance athlete you may recognize yourself firmly in this: you are well on the way, but after a while you notice that the fatigue is falling. The pace starts to drop, muscle glycogen will decrease and your legs will become slightly heavier as time passes. This is often a sign that your body needs carbohydrates, an important energy supplier for endurance training. You could say that it is easy to solve, but in practice that often turns out to be disappointing ... To get enough carbohydrates with a drink, you have to drink a lot, while a carbohydrate-rich bar nearly always bothers your stomach. In addition, both are not practical to take with you while running or cycling. What remains then? Energy Gels!

Every Energy Gel consists of a compact sachet with a capacity of 60 ml. This makes it easy to take with you in any form of endurance training. Don't let the small size fool you, because every sachet provides your body with no less than 25 grams of carbohydrates that your body can use at that moment! Thanks to a mix of sugars and slower-absorbing carbohydrates, you ensure a constant influx so that you do not experience a sudden peak in energy and crash, but can continue for a long period. In addition, carbohydrates help restore normal muscle function after prolonged exercise that has led to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles.

The addition of electrolytes ensures that the body increases the absorption of water during physical exertion and endurance performance during prolonged endurance exertion is better maintained.

Vitamin C activates your natural energy in the body and contributes to extra energy in the event of fatigue. In addition, Vitamin C helps protect healthy body cells, a crucial aspect of endurance training where you push the body to the limit.
