About Us

XXL Nutrition was founded in 2004 out of a personal need. I was unable to tolerate the protein shakes that were on the market at the time and came across a protein shake that was top notch. Since then, it has been quite a journey. From a 15m2 garage where I did everything myself to a 10,000m2 warehouse and 120 employees. In that time, we have grown into the biggest sports nutrition brand in the Netherlands and Belgium. We have hundreds of thousands of customers and many fans, which is something we are really proud of! It's fair to say that we're specialists and that things have gotten pretty much out of hand! Products such as whey protein, creatine, amino acids, weight gainer, pre-workout and, of course, our sportswear are put together with the best possible care. We have more than 1,000 different products. Not 1, 2 or 3 types of protein, but as many as 20. Whether you're into fitness, HIIT, football, endurance, martial arts or whatever sport you're into, we have a suitable product for every athlete or need. We understand that many people find it difficult to choose from all these products. What do I need now, what suits me best? This is something we're working hard on and are coming up with more and more supplement guides  and explainer videos. There are already some of these on the site and more are coming all the time. This should make making the right choice a lot easier. And if you're looking for some extra advice afterwards, our customer service staff are there to help you.

No matter how much we have grown,, we still have both feet firmly on the ground and still also vouch for our quality. You can safely say that this is in our DNA. Our customers need to be confident that they're getting good pure products, which is something we make sure of!

Back then, we started out supplying consumers through our website. Nowadays, we work with more than 900 fitness centres, HIIT boxes and personal trainers. We also supply our supplements to hundreds of supermarkets, and you will even find us at festivals with our Protein Bar.
