What is Clear Whey?

If you walk through the gym and ask people what a protein shake has to offer, 9 times out of 10 you will probably hear terms like creamy, rich, milkshake, filling and protein-rich. The 'classic' protein shakes, such as Whey Delicious, are incredibly popular, but what if you don't like a rich, creamy texture? For anyone craving a fresh, clear protein shake, we at XXL Nutrition have the answer - meet Clear Whey Isolate. A protein shake like you've come to expect from us, but with an innovative twist.

Clear Whey Isolate from XXL Nutrition is a clear drink rich in protein and formulated from whey isolate. This is a hydrolysed whey protein, but in a lighter variant. Proteins contribute to the growth of muscle mass and support fast muscle recovery after training/sport (performance).

The drink owes its refreshing texture to the fact that you mix the powder with water instead of milk. Whether you are training for muscle gain, battling the scales or just looking for a refreshing protein source; Clear Whey Isolate is your new go-to drink after an intense workout!

The benefits of Clear Whey Isolate

Clear Whey Isolate is as clear as your sports goals, and because the powder dissolves quickly in water, you'll never have any lumps. One serving of Clear Whey Isolate also contains as much as 21 grams of protein, is fat, lactose and sugar-free and has only 87 calories per serving. So, you can enjoy a refreshing treat after your workout without any unnecessary additives.

Flavour variations that trigger your taste buds

Clear Whey Isolate comes in four delicious flavours: Strawberry Cherry, Orange, Ice Tea Peach and Apple. Whether you choose the sweet and juicy combination of Strawberry Cherry or the refreshing aromas of Orange, all flavours offer a unique taste sensation.

Clear Whey versus traditional shakes

You've already read it in a nutshell: the biggest difference between Clear Whey and traditional shakes is the texture. Clear Whey, as the name suggests, is clear and resembles lemonade in terms of appearance. Whereas a classic protein shake is much like a creamy milkshake. Also, some people find classic shakes heavy on the stomach, while Clear Whey is actually considered a lighter drink. You may therefore find that you don't just use Clear Whey Isolate after a hard workout, but also as a tasty and protein-rich drink with your breakfast.

Both variants are high in protein and offer a tasty way to increase your protein intake. The choice between Clear Whey and traditional shakes therefore comes down to personal preference.
