What is casein protein?

Proteins contribute to the growth of muscle mass and promote muscle recovery after physical exertion. It is not without reason that intensive athletes need extra protein. But what is casein protein? In fact, casein is by far the most important milk protein. Although whey protein might be a little more familiar to you. Whey protein are the substances that remain after the production of cheese. Casein protein shake

But what is the difference between a casein shake and a whey protein shake? You can categorize proteins as fast proteins and slow proteins. In general, we consider whey protein to be fast proteins. The whey hydrolysate is absorbed almost immediately by your body and can therefore be used faster to restore your muscles. By the slow proteins, we mean casein protein, also called milk protein. The main feature of casein proteins is that the proteins are delivered to the body at a slower rate, making the product ideal for use before bedtime. During sleep, your body is most engaged in recovery. Casein protein is therefore often used to replace yoghurt before bedtime.

What is casein night protein?

The normal proteins, such as whey protein, have the characteristic that they are suitable for taking around your workout so that your body can immediately use the proteins for the recovery process. But if you are looking for a protein that works slower and does its work at night, you are better off choosing the Night Protein or the Delicious Night Protein. This is the biggest difference between Night protein, casein protein and other forms of whey protein.
